Welcome to Garscube Harriers

We cater for Road, Cross Country, Track and Hill running. SENIOR SECTION trains at 7.15pm on Tuesdays and 7pm on Thursdays at the Garscube Sports Complex off Maryhill Road, Glasgow. Training is organised in groups according to ability and new members are always welcome. We are an inclusive club that welcomes runners of all abilities.
JUNIOR SECTION for 9-17 year olds and we are taking names for an intake in early Spring 2010. Training times - see Young Athletes page.

Congratulations to Anna MacGregor who won the McCaa Cup at the weekend.
For sessions at Scotstoun access to the track is £3.90 or £1.95 concessions.

Post Balloch-Clydebank Half Marathon - 1pm (or earlier if you run faster!) onwards.
Feel free to drop in for as little, or as long, as you can - even if you're not participating in the race.

The Training Weekend will be held on Fri 21 to Sun 23 May
It will be based at Trossachs Tryst - about 1 hour from Glasgow. See it at http://www.scottish-hostel.com/index.htm
There will be a variety of runs suitable for all abilities.
No need to come for whole weekend if you cannot manage, In fact it's fine to just come on the Saturday or Sunday for a run or two if you have other committments
Cost will be £25 for bed and breakfast for 2 nights. We also hope to have guest speakers along.
Members are reminded that they should run in their club competition vests in all races. Vests can be ordered from John Hamilton on johnw.hamilton@btinternet.com
